# Kurikan geologia - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `kurikangeologia.fi` ## Description Kurikan Geologia is an information and education initiative of the City of Kurikka, Finland, dedicated to the region’s distinctive geology and groundwater. Its website introduces the area’s geological story, including the feature promoted as the world’s oldest valley and the underground formation known as the Kurikka Grand Canyon. It also explains the deep groundwater found beneath Kurikka, which is described as helping secure the region’s water needs, and shares updates on the deep groundwater project, its progress and future prospects. The initiative brings together resources for residents, visitors, students and researchers. Its online content covers geology, geological time, Earth’s structure, rocks, geological processes, hydrogeology and hydrology. Visitors can explore a knowledge bank with a glossary, media links and related research, as well as image galleries, educational material and a groundwater adventure. The site also reports on soil surveys, sustainability, international cooperation and teaching. A planned hydrogeological science institute in Kurikka is intended to become a hub for regional expertise and a platform for international research and education. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Earth Sciences _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/profile.php?id=61584171151329) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/kurikangeologia) - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/kurikan-kaupunki) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idyT4HeUJI/w/300/h/300/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793086105888) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idyT4HeUJI/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793086106105) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Tolopea | #17004e | accent | | Port Gore | #1e1c3e | dark | | Di Serria | #e2a06d | light | ## Fonts - Arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
