# kurkiecovillage.fi - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `kurkiecovillage.fi` ## Description Kurjen Ecovillage is a community in Vesilahti, Pirkanmaa, Finland, located near the shore of Lake Pyhäjärvi. Founded in 2012 on a former farm, it brings together a close-knit residential area, farmland and lakeside grounds. Its mission is to explore and put sustainable solutions into practice across all areas of life, while building a community based on cooperation and ecological living. The village also welcomes visitors through guided visits, open events, courses, trips and workshops, and runs a summer café on Saturdays. Its projects include a biodiversity garden, a sustainable development centre and an edible forest garden, with the wider aim of developing the ecovillage as a place for learning and research. Kurjen Ecovillage Association works to advance sustainability and community life locally, nationally and internationally, including through a European Solidarity Corps volunteer programme and the CLIPS community incubator. Kurjen Tila Oy, jointly owned by communities involved in the village project, manages and maintains the land and shared buildings. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Environmental Science _(under Science and Education)_ - 🍔 Food and Drink - 🍔 Restaurants and Delivery _(under Food and Drink)_ ## Links - [instagram](https://instagram.com/kurki_ecovillage) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id2Q2URsbR/w/240/h/90/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793118019024) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id2Q2URsbR/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793118019175) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Potters Clay | #8a6d3b | accent | | Crown of Thorns | #842029 | dark | | Danube | #6a9fc7 | light | ## Fonts - arial — asset _(custom)_ - -apple-system — asset _(system)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
