## Description

KURZ architekti is an architecture studio based in České Budějovice, Czech Republic, led by architects Zuzana Kurz and Jan Kurz. The practice designs sustainable buildings shaped by each client and the character of the surrounding place, rather than imposing a fixed architectural signature. Its aim is to create distinctive, functional projects that serve both society and the natural environment over the long term.

The studio works across a range of building types, including family homes, renovations, interiors, apartment buildings and public structures. Its services extend from the first sketches through to project realization. Featured work includes family villas, a guest apartment, a residential building in České Budějovice, and the conversion of a historic cottage. The portfolio also includes work with timber construction and a church project.

KURZ architekti’s work has received recognition in Czech and international awards, including Kanceláře roku, the BIG SEE Wood Design Award and Dřevěná stavba roku. The studio presents selected projects, references and career opportunities on its website, and welcomes inquiries from prospective clients.
