## Description

Karnevalistische Vereinigung Grünberg 1927 e.V. (KVG) is a carnival association based in Grünberg, Germany, dedicated to celebrating and sustaining the town’s carnival traditions. Founded in 1927, the organization brings together members of different ages to take part in seasonal festivities, performances, and community events. Its activities include ceremonial events such as the annual enthronement of the carnival prince and princess, as well as public celebrations and appearances during the carnival campaign.

KVG’s groups include the Prince’s Guard, Officers’ Guard, junior guard, dance groups, KVG dancers, Strolche, and men’s dance troupe. The association also features a council of eleven, a court, ceremonial officers, and children’s carnival royalty, creating opportunities for members to participate both onstage and behind the scenes. Its website shares event dates, photographs, videos, carnival newspapers, historical information, and records of past royal couples and campaign themes. KVG also invites the community to contribute historical material, helping preserve the story of Grünberg’s carnival for future generations.
