## Description

Kvarnvikens Båtsällskap (KBS) is a boating and sailing association founded in 1953, serving around 500 members in the Kvarnviken area of Bromma, Stockholm. Its harbour, clubhouse and other facilities are located along Kanaans väg, below Blackeberg and Kvarnviken’s historic mill, beside the Grimsta nature reserve. The club supports a broad range of boating interests, with an award-winning and active youth and dinghy section alongside opportunities for recreational boating and sailing.

Members can access harbour-related services and information, including berths and piers, boat launching and storage, watch duties, mooring guidance and environmental rules. KBS also offers courses and training, shares information about insurance, and organizes club activities and sailing events such as Frost Race and regular Tuesday sailing. The association maintains a club island at Norrsundet and provides information about its boatyard and facilities. Members can find event calendars, documents, results, practical guidance and club news through the website. KBS is affiliated with the Swedish Union of Boaters and the Swedish Sailing Federation, connecting members with the wider Swedish boating community.
