## Description

KVW Heel, short for Kindervakantiewerk Heel, is a community organization that creates a special holiday experience for children and young people in Heel, the Netherlands. Its main offering is an annual activity week during the summer break, bringing local children together for a lively programme of group activities. The week can include games, themed events, camping activities and outings, giving participants opportunities to have fun and make memories with their peers. KVW Heel shares programme updates, news and photographs on its website and social media, and provides online registration forms for both children and volunteers. The organization depends on enthusiastic volunteer leaders to help deliver the week and invites local businesses and supporters to contribute as sponsors or friends. These contributions help fund activities, including excursions. KVW Heel is community-focused and plans its programme around the availability of its volunteers and the school holiday calendar. Its 2027 activity week is scheduled for 23–27 August, in week 34.
