## Description

KXT 91.7 is a member-supported, non-commercial radio station operated by KERA, a nonprofit organization that includes KERA TV, KERA FM, and Art&Seek. Since its launch in 2009, KXT has become one of the top-10 most-listened-to Triple-A (Adult, Album, Alternative) public radio stations in the country. With a focus on supporting local artists, KXT plays a unique mix of new, local, and legendary music that listeners love. The majority of KXT's programming is produced and programmed locally, featuring shows like The KXT Local Show, Funky Friday with Lesley James, and The Paul Slavens Show. KXT is proud to be a part of The Republic of Music, which represents the community of listeners, members, artists, and supporters who together make the North Texas music scene so special.
