Welcome to Kaleidoscope Youth Center (KYC), the largest and longest-standing organization in Ohio dedicated to serving queer youth. At KYC, we believe in the power of belonging and standing in your strengths and power. Our goal is to create a world where everyone can be their most confident and authentic selves.

As a youth-led and youth-informed community, everything you'll find at KYC is designed specifically for LGBTQIA+ youth like you. Located in Columbus and serving all of Ohio, our diverse and experienced staff work alongside queer youth to provide free programming, housing, and support services. Our programs focus on LGBTQIA+ youth support, including social activities, leadership development, life skills, mutual support, and holistic wellness education.

We also prioritize racial justice and equity, advocating for the multiple identities that LGBTQIA+ youth hold. In 2021 alone, we had over 3,000 visits to our Drop-in Center, both in-person and virtually. We trained over 3,700 professionals, and we connected over 80 young people with wraparound services and housing assistance.
