## Description

Kentucky Horticulture Council (KHC) is dedicated to supporting the state's horticulture industry by providing valuable information and education to growers, business owners, and the public. Our goal is to foster a thriving industry and be a resource for all those involved in horticulture. KHC offers a wide range of programs and services, including ag water quality testing, crop insurance for specialty crop growers, resources for small fruits programs, and sustainable agriculture practices.

In addition, KHC is actively involved in promoting the farm-to-school movement, connecting farmers with schools to provide fresh, locally-sourced produce to students. We also host various events, such as the Kentucky Fruit and Vegetable Conference and the Agriculture Direct Marketing Summit.

Furthermore, KHC is committed to helping the Eastern Kentucky region impacted by recent flooding by providing relief resources for farmers and individuals. If you're looking to support the relief efforts, there are various ways to donate and get involved. Join us in our mission to contribute to the success and resilience of Kentucky's horticulture industry.
