Kyoto Startup Summer School is an immersive program that brings together future change makers with established entrepreneurs, practitioners, and academics. With a focus on hands-on learning experiences, the program equips participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to build a successful startup. The program consists of various modules taught by a diverse team of experienced facilitators, lecturers, and panelists.

These modules cover a broad range of topics, including workshops for startup skills and entrepreneurial mindsets, lectures on relevant startup topics, and intense startup weekends to kickstart entrepreneurial journeys. Participants also have the opportunity to engage in social sessions, panel discussions, and fun activities such as quiz nights and open mic nights. Since its inception in 2016, Kyoto Startup Summer School has attracted over 360 people from 62 countries, making it the most international program of its kind in Japan.
