Founded in 2014 by Dr. Noeline Kirabo, Kyusa started as a pilot program that positively impacted the lives of young entrepreneurs and transformed Dr. Kirabo's own trajectory. Over time, Kyusa has expanded its reach and established an incubation program to assist startups and growing businesses, particularly young entrepreneurs who lack extensive networks or experience. Headquartered in Kampala, Kyusa has a prominent presence in thirteen major districts in Uganda, ensuring widespread accessibility to their services and expertise. They have had a profound impact, providing crucial capacity-building support to over 5,000 young entrepreneurs, leading to the establishment of 1,800 micro and small enterprises. Kyusa's innovative programs have created opportunities for growth and expansion, including business study trips and a micro-grant program to support vendor businesses during the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic. With Kyusa's guidance, graduates have started and grown hundreds of businesses across various sectors, such as catering, events management, social enterprises, agriculture, beauty, crafts, and more. Kyusa remains committed to igniting entrepreneurship, driving job creation, and unlocking the full potential of youth and women within marginalized communities.
