The Kentucky YMCA Youth Association is the go-to organization for middle school, high school, and college students across the Commonwealth who are interested in service learning, civic engagement, and personal development. As the home of Kentucky's YMCA Youth and Government programs, we offer a range of programs and services that empower young people to make a positive impact in their local and global communities. Our flagship program, Student Y, is a student-led initiative that provides opportunities for middle and high school students (grades 6-12) to develop leadership skills and address pressing social issues.

We also offer the Kentucky Youth Assembly (KYA), a 3-day educational event where students experience firsthand what it's like to be part of a model state government. Additionally, the Kentucky United Nations Assembly (KUNA) allows students to engage in simulated international diplomacy and develop a global perspective. In addition to these main programs, we also offer other programs such as the Leadership Training Conference (LTC) and the Y-Corps Passion Projects.
