# La Banquise - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `la-banquise.fr` ## Description La Banquise is a student-run hosting association and technology community that provides services for students, associations, developers, and gamers. Its mission is to help students learn how to deploy and manage infrastructure using technologies found in professional environments, while making stable, accessible tools available for projects, collaboration, and recreation. Its services include collaborative documentation through a wiki, a self-hosted Forgejo code platform, and game server management for titles such as Minecraft, Counter-Strike 2, and Palworld. Members can also use email, cloud storage and file sharing, a private association intranet, password management, and a status page for checking service availability. The organization invites prospective members to connect through Discord to ask questions, get help, and learn about joining. La Banquise describes its infrastructure as comprising more than 25 servers, with a high-availability fibre network, distributed and redundant storage using Ceph, and modern security protections with regular updates. It commits to developing and using open-source software, reflecting its focus on collaboration, learning, and accessible technology. ## Industries - 🖥 Computers Electronics and Technology - 🖥 Web Hosting and Domain Names _(under Computers Electronics and Technology)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idDJJts8id/w/96/h/96/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791095639842) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Guardsman Red | #d40000 | accent | | Oxford Blue | #364153 | dark | | Anakiwa | #a5f0ff | light | ## Fonts - var(--font-sans) — asset _(custom)_ - var(--font-sans) — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
