## Description

La Casa Ostetrica is a maternity and women’s health project founded by Francesca and Giulia in September 2024. Based in Forlì, Italy, it supports women and families through pregnancy, birth, the postnatal period, and other stages of life. Its approach combines scientific appropriateness with active listening and empathetic communication, helping people make informed, confident choices about their health. Services include individual consultations and group programs, with support for pregnancy, preparation for birth, returning home with a newborn, breastfeeding, and postnatal recovery. The center also offers women’s health services such as pelvic floor assessment and rehabilitation, contraceptive counseling, and support through menopause. Courses include neonatal massage, women’s Pilates, mindful movement during pregnancy, water-based activities for expectant mothers, and postnatal or post-surgical rehabilitation using Pilates and other movement methods. Couples can join birth-preparation sessions, while interactive Baby Brains workshops translate research into learning for parents, caregivers, and educators. Regular gatherings, including Merenda delle mamme, provide a welcoming space for mothers to connect and share experiences.
