## Description

Lachtal is a mountain resort in Styria, Austria, known for its expansive alpine scenery and skiing, and often called the “Styrian Arlberg.” Its summit lift station stands at 2,222 metres, the highest lift station in the region. The resort offers 36 kilometres of blue, red and black pistes and ski routes across 150 hectares of sunny terrain, alongside mountain huts and a range of winter activities.

Families and beginners can enjoy Kinder-Lachtal, a sheltered learning area with a magic carpet, beginner rope lift, mini slalom and wave course. The Wildes Lachtal adventure trail introduces children to woodland animals. Visitors can also go winter walking, use the toboggan run, and attend seasonal events such as ski shows and fireworks.

Lachtal provides lift and piste information, live weather and webcams, ski and snowboard lessons, equipment rental and service, and online ticket and voucher shops. Passes include day and multi-day options, as well as products connected with the Kreischberg and regional ski areas. The resort also helps visitors find and book accommodation.
