## Description

La Corsa di Miguel is a spirited running event established in 2000 to honor Miguel Benancio Sánchez, a poet and runner who disappeared during Argentina's military dictatorship. Held annually in Rome, this 10 km race attracts thousands of participants, promoting camaraderie and a passion for sports among runners of all ages. The event not only pays homage to its namesake but also emphasizes the importance of sports culture, integrity, and healthy competition.

Besides organizing races, La Corsa di Miguel is committed to educational initiatives through its Schools Program. This initiative engages students in athletic activities, encouraging them to embrace sportsmanship and teamwork while fostering a strong sense of community. The brand also features “Il Miguelista,” a newsletter that shares stories, experiences, and achievements from runners and schools alike.

La Corsa di Miguel forms partnerships with sponsors and associations to further its mission, ensuring that the legacy of Miguel continues to inspire future generations. Join us in celebrating this remarkable journey of remembrance and athletic pursuit!
