## Description

La Crosse Public Education Foundation (LPEF) is a community-focused organization that supports learning opportunities for students in the School District of La Crosse and promotes public understanding and support for education. It connects individuals and businesses with ways to invest in local schools, helping direct community generosity toward students, educators, and district priorities.

LPEF offers several giving options, including one-time donations, Support-a-School crowdfunding, business giving, and the establishment of endowed funds. Its programs include Gold Star Grants and Random Acts of Kindness Grants, which help expand educational experiences and support projects across grade levels. The foundation also recognizes teachers and staff through initiatives such as Thank A Teacher Day and tributes to retiring educators.

Through grants and community engagement, LPEF supports projects in areas such as music education, inclusive access, and outdoor learning. It also hosts events, including a grants award luncheon and the Bowtie Raffle, and shares updates about its work and opportunities to contribute.
