## Description

Lactacoaching provides personal, professional breastfeeding guidance for expectant and new parents and their babies in the Haarlem and Heemstede region. Led by Jacqueline, an IBCLC lactation consultant, the service supports families who have questions or concerns about breastfeeding, whether they are preparing for a baby or already feeding one at the breast. Parents may seek help independently or be referred by a GP, midwife, or child health clinic.

Lactacoaching offers different types of consultations, with support tailored to each family’s situation. Guidance goes beyond helping a baby latch: it can help parents understand their baby’s cues and behaviour, learn how breastfeeding works, and find more comfortable ways to feed. Breastfeeding often develops naturally, but some situations benefit from attentive, professional support.

The website also provides information about consultation fees and conditions, the service area, professional standards, IBCLC credentials, complaints procedures, privacy, and the WHO Code, along with an online intake form and client experiences. The service is currently temporarily closed.
