LACTLD

LACTLD is a non-profit association established on August 20, 1998 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, during the IFWP meetings. As the Association of ccTLDs in Latin America and the Caribbean, LACTLD plays a crucial role in the region's social impact. They focus on promoting collaboration, exchange, and collective development among their members.

LACTLD offers a range of services and resources to its members. These include the Nube Anycast service for improved connectivity and resilience, as well as the Unifying Domain Search engine to simplify domain management. They also provide various publications, newsletters, and reports on relevant topics such as ICANN, IETF, IGF, and LACIGF.

Furthermore, LACTLD actively participates in events related to domain names and internet governance. They recently took part in the Domain Name Week in Latin America and the Caribbean 2023, organized by ICANN, LACNIC, and other key organizations. The association also celebrated its 25th anniversary, marking a milestone in its continuous process of collective growth.
