LaFontsee Galleries is a contemporary art gallery, art consultancy, and custom framing studio serving Grand Rapids and Douglas, Michigan. With nearly 40 years of experience, the business helps collectors, designers, and organizations find artwork that suits the character of a space and reflects an organization’s identity. Its consultants provide curatorial guidance and collection strategies for offices, hotels, restaurants, institutions, and homes.

The gallery presents an evolving collection of work by 80 local, national, and international artists, with artwork available to browse and purchase. Visitors can also attend exhibitions, artist talks, and seasonal events at locations in Grand Rapids, Plaza Towers, and Douglas. LaFontsee’s services extend from sourcing and commissioning artwork to framing and installation, with projects managed by its own team from concept through completion. Its in-house framing studio offers archival, design-led framing for art, memorabilia, and heirlooms. The company also handles corporate and institutional projects, client installations, and large-scale and public art management, supporting both individual clients and commercial spaces.
