Lakeplace Retreat Center, located in Bovey, MN, is dedicated to providing highly structured chemical dependency care in a non-institutional setting. Established in 1989 as a place for men and women from Riverplace Counseling Center to participate in a 4th and 5th Step Retreat, Lakeplace has since evolved into a licensed DHS Rule 31 facility. Operated by three generations of a family-owned business, Lakeplace Retreat Center offers a serene environment surrounded by acres of birch, pine, and hardwoods, providing a resort-like atmosphere for reflection, fellowship, and sober recreation.

They also offer recommendations to ensure continued recovery for individuals, communicating with assessors, concerned agencies, courts, managed care organizations, and others.
