## Description

Lalirra Yellingbo is a family-run farm near Yellingbo, 47 kilometres from Melbourne, established at the property in 2011. The farm cares for a herd of around 40 to 50 alpacas in a range of colours, including white, fawn, brown, grey and black, as well as a small fold of Highland cattle. Lalirra offers alpacas for sale and sells alpaca fleece, with shearing taking place annually in late October. Visitors can learn about alpacas and farm life during open days or by arranging a visit by appointment. The website also shares information about alpaca facts, stud sires, feature animals, Highland cattle, farm news and wildlife through articles, galleries and videos. Located beside Yellingbo Conservation Reserve, Lalirra is committed to responsible farming and caring for the land and local environment. The farm acknowledges the Wurundjeri and other Kulin Nations as Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands and waterways where it operates.
