## Description

Lamassu Biotech is a private, clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel treatments for unmet medical needs. Its patient-centric approach combines targeted research strategies with an emphasis on scientific rationale, preclinical evidence, safety, and efficient progress toward clinical testing. The company works across academia and industry to identify promising therapeutic candidates, investigate how they work, assess them in additional models and indications, and determine paths toward regulatory approval and patient impact.

Lamassu applies its expertise in early translational research to advance products into Phase I/II studies, then collaborates with clinical and commercial development specialists to move trials forward. Its pipeline includes SA53, an investigational cancer treatment targeting p53 wild-type tumors, and RABI-767, a therapy being developed for acute pancreatitis. SA53 is undergoing Phase 1/2 clinical evaluation, with potential oncology indications to be selected based on initial results and clinical and commercial opportunities. Through this development model, Lamassu aims to bring promising therapies to definitive clinical testing efficiently while safeguarding patient safety and investment.
