## Description

Lamina is an AI-powered veneer design platform in development for modern cosmetic dentists. It is designed to turn dental scans into print-ready designs for 3D-printed, no-prep veneers in minutes. Dentists upload upper and lower arch files in STL or PLY format, select teeth using a standard Universal or FDI chart, and choose from six original tooth styles: Classic, Natural, Soft, Bold, Petite, and Broad. Lamina then detects tooth positions, places the selected forms, and prepares individual STL files for printing.

The platform includes virtual articulation analysis for protrusion, lateral excursions, and retrusion, helping flag potential interferences before printing. It also checks for a minimum veneer thickness of 0.2 mm and identifies or adjusts areas that fall below that threshold. Dentists can upload a retracted smile photo for facial alignment, while marking missing teeth helps the system map the arch accurately. Exported files are non-splinted and intended for use with 3D printers. Lamina is currently inviting cosmetic dentists to join its beta waitlist for early access and founder pricing.
