## Description

Lancashire Golf is the county’s unified golf organisation, formed through the joining of the Lancashire Ladies County Golf Association and Lancashire Union of Golf Clubs. Its primary aim is to grow the game across Lancashire by supporting local clubs, improving the player experience and encouraging inclusive participation, from beginners to elite competitors. The organisation provides strategic and operational support to clubs, including help with the World Handicap System and course rating, and delivers county championships, competitions and team matches.

Players can find competition entries, fixtures, live scoring, results and information about county teams and squads. Lancashire Golf also supports player development through its academy programme, coaching and development pathways, and initiatives such as Get into Golf, Girls Golf Rocks, Women on Par, iGolf and iPlay. Its work includes opportunities for women, girls, young players and golfers with disabilities, alongside support for volunteers and clubs. The organisation shares news, runs seminars and workshops, and offers a county card and access to England Golf information and recommended suppliers.
