## Description

Plzeňský Landfrýd is a Czech association specializing in the planning and delivery of public celebrations, historical events, and themed programmes. Based in Plzeň, it offers a complete service tailored to each client’s brief, from developing concepts and scripts to designing and creating event settings and providing artistic and organizational direction. Its work includes town festivals, anniversary celebrations, commemorations of notable figures, events at castles and chateaux, historical markets, and fairs.

The association’s programmes bring the past to life through historical battles and reenactments, performances, period music, craft demonstrations, and activities for children and adults. Visitors may encounter knights, musketeers, entertainers, and other historical characters, alongside traditional market stalls and a period tavern. Plzeňský Landfrýd also rents historical costumes and armour and provides advice on historical weapons. Its references include events such as the Battle of Sudoměř, the siege of Plzeň, celebrations at Velhartice, and historical productions for film. The association serves event organizers seeking a comprehensive, engaging programme with a historical theme.
