## Description

Landrace.wiki is an independent, open-access encyclopedia and conservation database documenting traditional cannabis populations and the knowledge connected to them. Its focus includes landrace genetics, geography, history, cultivation, culture, chemistry and conservation. The project organizes records of accessions—samples or observations tied to a specific place and time—and locally recognized appellations, alongside information about countries, growing regions, growing areas and elevation. Users can browse documented accessions, explore conservation priorities, consult topic portals and search the database using filters or a query builder. The site also features articles, a glossary, research publications, current events and news reporting related to cannabis. Landrace.wiki is community driven and invites contributions such as field observations, photographs, corrections, sources and translations to strengthen the public record. It provides guidance on interpreting accession pages and conservation assessments, as well as help for contributors. The resource is open-access, free to use, and its content is available under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license unless otherwise noted.
