## Description

Stichting Land van Horne is a care organisation serving communities in Someren, Cranendonck, Weert, Nederweert and Leudal. It supports people through care at home, residential care, treatment and rehabilitation, with services designed to help clients maintain a meaningful life and feel at home. People can receive support in their own homes or at the organisation’s care and residential centres.

A central principle is “Samen Doen” (“Doing Together”), which brings clients, family members, informal carers, friends, volunteers and staff together to provide support. The organisation values the knowledge and involvement of those close to each client, aiming to help people live as they are accustomed to whenever possible.

Land van Horne also offers specialised care for people affected by Huntington’s disease, drawing on experience dating back to 1982. In 2023, it was recognised as a Regional Huntington Expertise Centre, providing knowledge and support for patients, families and healthcare professionals. Its website also shares service information, news, events, location details and opportunities for care professionals and job seekers.
