## Description

Langrennsportens Venner is an organization dedicated to supporting the future of Norwegian cross-country skiing. Its main focus is helping promising athletes, particularly during the transition from junior to senior competition. The organization raises funds through membership and sales of seasonal ski hats and headbands. Its hats are identical to those worn by the Norwegian national team, with several styles available, including a thicker everyday version. For the 2026–27 season, proceeds are being used to support a major junior training camp and provide prize money at junior Norwegian Cup races and the U23 championship.

The organization has also backed junior training camps in recent years and contributed funding in 2020 to help establish senior regional teams, which later became Team Elon. Langrennsportens Venner invites people to become members and purchase its products to help sustain Norwegian skiing. It also highlights a 2026 partnership with Maxpulse offering travel to skiing events. Membership inquiries, product questions, and larger orders can be directed to the organization by email.
