## Description

LANS’FER is a nonprofit association behind a lively, unconventional obstacle-course event held in the village of Lans, in France’s Saône-et-Loire department. Designed for experienced athletes and beginners alike, the event puts fun ahead of competition, inviting people to take part with friends, colleagues, or family. Participants can expect mud, straw, costumes, laughter, and plenty of surprises as the village is transformed for a day into a playful landscape of challenges.

The event offers four race formats, including team and individual options, a 6-kilometre course for adults, a 4-kilometre course for teenagers aged 13 to 17, and a 2-kilometre course for children aged six and up. More than 25 obstacles cater to different abilities and ages, with around ten adapted specifically for children. LANS’FER also welcomes volunteers and visitors, and shares event information, photos, videos, press updates, and results. The next edition is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, 2026. As stated on its website, registration is currently closed, with no on-site sign-ups.
