Lantern Community Services is a brand that is dedicated to championing the independence and well-being of New Yorkers impacted by or threatened with homelessness. Since its founding in 1996, Lantern has been providing innovative on-site social services to over 2,000 formerly homeless individuals living in supportive housing. Their comprehensive programs are tailored to each individual's needs, delivering proven results in health, employment, education, and life skills.

Whether someone is experiencing mental illness, addiction, disability, HIV, or other chronic illnesses, Lantern equips them with the necessary tools to successfully integrate into the community with dignity and independence. As one of the largest providers of supportive housing for youth in New York, Lantern offers 83 apartments specifically designated for young individuals who have aged out of foster care. These programs are delivered within 15 supportive housing sites located in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Upper Manhattan.
