# larazahs.org - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `larazahs.org` ## Description La Raza Historical Society of Santa Clara Valley (LRHS) is a California nonprofit public-benefit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the social, business, political, and civil rights contributions of the Raza community in the Santa Clara Valley, from the mid-1800s to the present. It works within a wider cultural preservation and public-history community to recover local histories and make them accessible to future generations. LRHS collects and cares for photographs, negatives, documents, family histories, posters, and other historical records. Its activities include historical research, publishing books, producing educational videos and interviews, hosting community events, and providing online resources about San José and surrounding regions. With support from a 2026–2027 Institute of Museum and Library Services grant, the Society is organizing, cataloging, and digitizing its collection to build a more accessible online archive for students, researchers, and community members. At La Casa de La Raza, in the Chiechi House at San José History Park, LRHS plans to house its archive, a community conference area, and the Dr. George Castro library. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Libraries and Museums _(under Science and Education)_ - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/LaRazaHistoricalSocietySCV) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/larazahs) - [youtube](https://youtube.com/channel/UCBsdyQTjz7DkMOBNXN4uQjQ) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idvRRY6gc5/w/150/h/106/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791951474132) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idvRRY6gc5/w/620/h/620/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791951474238) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Salmon | #ff8c62 | accent | | Mine Shaft | #353131 | dark | | Sidecar | #f2e0bf | light | ## Fonts - helvetica-w01-bold — asset _(custom)_ - Arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
