## Description

Lardo is a celebrated sandwich shop that originated as a food cart in Southeast Portland, embodying a bold approach to culinary craftsmanship. Founded by Chef Rick Gencarelli, Lardo specializes in meat-centric delights that pay homage to traditional charcuterie, particularly through its unique take on fatback. The menu features a variety of indulgent offerings, including pork-drenched double burgers, a colossal meatball Banh Mi, and hand-cut fries generously smothered in delectable pork. To complement these rich flavors, Lardo boasts a robust selection of craft beers with rotating taps and an exciting array of premium cocktails. With locations on both sides of the river, Lardo has established itself as a mecca for sandwich enthusiasts searching for an unforgettable deli experience. Whether you’re dining in or ordering online, Lardo’s commitment to quality ingredients and inventive flavors ensures a satisfying meal that resonates with the essence of Portland’s vibrant food culture.
