## Description

International Larp Database (ILDB) is a project dedicated to researching, organizing, and preserving information about live-action role-playing, from its origins to the present. Its database brings together larp organizations, events, authors, participants, and other community information to help map and celebrate larp culture. Visitors can browse upcoming and past events, explore organizations, use a map, and discover news and resources, including official APIs. Event organizers can add events for free and manage event details, galleries, and carpooling information, helping players find experiences and connect with one another. The platform also supports players in claiming their characters, following events that interest them, and building a personal record of their larp history. Event listings span a range of genres and formats, with examples including science fiction, mystery, historical, fantasy, and psychological games. ILDB serves both as a discovery tool for players and as a shared archive for the wider larp community, making information about its events, people, and organizations easier to find and preserve.
