L'artisan du Liban is a socially conscious brand that was established in 1979 by the non-profit organization, Mouvement Social. Committed to creating a more just and humane world, our brand focuses on the social and economic development of local Lebanese artisans. Our mission is to support and preserve the cultural traditions of craft by providing sustainable solutions.

Since our inception, we have supported over 1000 artisans across Lebanon, particularly in remote rural areas, and have successfully saved several crafts from extinction. Through our fair-trade and collaborative approach, we aim to empower artisans from less privileged backgrounds by helping them acquire new skills and sustain themselves. At L'artisan du Liban, we create connections and open up possibilities.

With our extensive value chain, we not only design, develop, and sell products but also locate and train rural artisans. We work with a diverse range of artisans, from well-established workshops to independent women working from home. By supporting these artisans, we strive to provide them with a sustainable income, uplift them from poverty, and expand their reach.
