## Description

Lakeside Animal Sanctuary Incorporated (LASI) is a registered Queensland charity dedicated to improving the lives of ex-racehorses. Established in 2014, the organization operates a sanctuary at Lake Monduran, where it focuses on rescuing, rehabilitating and providing sanctuary for Thoroughbreds and Standardbreds. Its work supports horses in need, including neglected, mistreated, abandoned and difficult cases, and aims to provide them with care and comfort.

LASI invites the public and racing industry to help sustain its sanctuary and extend its animal rescue services to more horses. Supporters can contribute through donations, including PayPal, or by partnering with the charity. Businesses, community groups and individuals can assist with fundraising or donations of supplies and services. Volunteers are also welcome to lend their time and support.

The organization says all contributions go toward the care and comfort of its rescue horses. Through community involvement, LASI works to give ex-racehorses a safer place and a better quality of life.
