## Description

Rovaniemen Lastu ry is the subject association for education students at the University of Lapland in Rovaniemi. Founded in 1984, it brings students together and supports them throughout their studies and student life. The association shares information for new students, including a beginner’s guide to Rovaniemi, a frequently asked questions section, and peer tutoring resources. It also offers ways to connect with fellow students through events such as sitsit and annual celebrations, alongside information about culture, sports, leisure activities, and a wellbeing pass.

Lastu represents students’ interests and provides information about studies, majors, international opportunities, and student life. Its website also features guidance on harassment contacts, course feedback, and practical links. For students considering life after graduation, the association shares alumni stories, employment information, and resources connected with working life, including Specia and Skol.
