## Description

The Las Vegas Hawaiian Civic Club (LVHCC) is a community organization with more than 37 years of service to Native Hawaiians and the wider Las Vegas community. Guided by the motto “Kulia E Loa’a Ka Na’auao” (“Strive to Obtain Wisdom”), the club promotes education, cultural connection, civic involvement, and community support. Its activities include membership gatherings, cultural events, community partnerships, the annual Ho’olaule’a, and fundraising initiatives such as a golf tournament. LVHCC also offers educational assistance through scholarships and stipends, including the Founder’s Scholarship, Essay Scholarship, Kamehameha Schools Ho’omāka‘ika‘i Exploration grant, and Kupuna Kako’o Scholarship; additional opportunities are in development. The club shares scholarship resources and information about tuition reductions available through partner colleges. Its Maui relief work has directed donations to organizations and schools supporting people affected by the fires, with ongoing support for Lahainaluna Schools and plans to broaden relief efforts. Members and supporters can contribute by card, Zelle, or check.
