## Description

LATIBUL is a theatre and circus education centre in Cologne, bringing together cultural learning, training, performance and recreational activities. As a state-recognized educational institution, it offers certified, career-oriented training in theatre and circus education, alongside continuing education, teacher training and short workshops. Programmes range from five-day courses to part-time qualifications lasting 12 to 26 months, with options for young people aged 15 and older to earn youth-leadership qualifications. LATIBUL also provides weekly leisure classes, holiday programmes, open training sessions and workshops for children, young people and adults. Its work extends to original theatre productions and circus shows, regular performances, guest productions, festivals, conferences and collaborative creative projects. The centre’s Wibbelstetz youth circus presents a new production each year. LATIBUL supports the wider field of circus education in North Rhine-Westphalia through specialist advice, training and circBIB, a library of relevant literature and media with a digitally viewable collection. It also hosts team workshops, celebrations and events, and rents out circus tents, a studio theatre and rehearsal rooms at its two Cologne locations.
