## Description

Latinx Games Festival celebrates gaming, Latino culture, and game development across Latin America. It connects the community with the video game industry through events and initiatives that promote greater Latino representation and encourage a more culturally inclusive industry. Festival programming includes insightful panels, playable games made by Latino creators, career advancement opportunities, and the Latino Games Exhibition.

A central initiative is the Latinx Game Awards, which recognizes excellence in games by Latino and Latin American developers. In 2026, the awards will be held in person for the first time at the Game Developers Conference, in partnership with Informa. The ceremony is scheduled for March 10 at Moscone West in San Francisco and will recognize work across eight categories.

The festival also operates the LATAM Video Game Database, a platform showcasing games created by Latin American developers. Developers are invited to submit their games for visibility and recognition. The organization further engages its community through opportunities for sponsorship, press and influencer participation, and speaker applications.
