## Description

Latitude Dice is a New Zealand company introducing a new way to represent numbers on dice. Its Latitude, or “parallel,” dice use three simple lines instead of traditional pips, reimagining a familiar design that the company says has remained unchanged for more than 2,000 years. The concept is patent pending, with applications listed in New Zealand, internationally under the PCT, and in the United States.

The company presents a collection of dice concepts and prototypes in several materials and finishes. Options include sharp-edged plastic dice with flush faces and fair weighting; wooden dice with fine markings; engraved plastic dice with simple markings and balanced proportions; and anodized aluminium dice with bare-aluminium markings. Latitude Dice describes its products as designed and finished in New Zealand.

Visitors can explore the collection and learn how the alternative number system works. The company also invites people to join its mailing list for updates on product development and a planned Kickstarter launch.
