## Description

Associació La Torxa is a social association established in 1987 with a commitment to employment and the social and workplace inclusion of people with disabilities. In 1990, it created a Special Employment Centre to advance this mission. The organisation is declared to be of public utility and promotes employment, participation in association life, support for families and social inclusion. Its central goal is to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual or psychosocial disabilities.

La Torxa provides a range of services, including gardening, street cleaning, transport, meals and supported housing in homes or apartments. Its programmes also include an Occupational Therapy Service, an Occupational Integration Service and a workshop for handling and assembly tasks. People can access social, psychological and psychiatric support as well. Through these services, the association supports individuals in daily life and in developing opportunities for participation and work. La Torxa also invites people to become members or collaborate, and shares news and activities with its community.
