## Description

LaTourell’s Resort and Moose Lake Outfitters is a family-run destination on Moose Lake near Ely, Minnesota, serving visitors to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) and Ontario’s Quetico Park. For four generations, the LaTourell family has helped guests experience the region’s fishing, scenic lakes, wildlife, and wilderness waterways. The resort describes itself as the closest resort and canoe trip outfitter to both protected areas, making it a convenient starting point for exploring by water.

Guests can choose canoe trip outfitting for wilderness journeys or stay in the resort’s cabins for a more comfortable lakeside visit. Fishing is another central part of the experience, with Moose Lake and the surrounding waters offering access to the area’s outdoor recreation. LaTourell’s welcomes both experienced travelers and first-time canoeists, and offers friendly advice and assistance to help guests prepare for their trips. Located where the road gives way to the wilderness, the resort combines family hospitality with access to the lakes and trails of northern Minnesota and nearby Ontario.
