## Description

La Trainera is a historic restaurant and asador in Pedreña, Cantabria, founded in 1952 by Manuel Ocejo Castanedo as Bar Café Aurora. It later adopted its current name, inspired by the founder’s passion for rowing and the rowers who gathered at the establishment. Today, La Trainera is associated with its current owner, Manuel Ocejo Lavín, and offers restaurant dining as well as hotel accommodation.

The restaurant serves lunch from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and dinner from 8:45 p.m. to midnight, with other opening hours varying by day. Its menu features starters, seafood, fish, rice dishes, meat and desserts. Guests can choose from options including Cantabrian anchovies, octopus, shellfish, paella, grilled or baked fish, beef cuts, and homemade desserts and pastries.

Located at Avenida Severiano Ballesteros 134, La Trainera welcomes guests throughout the year. Restaurant reservations and hotel inquiries can be made by telephone.
