LaunchKC is a nonprofit initiative founded in 2014 that aims to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit in Kansas City, Missouri. Our mission is to attract and retain high-growth tech startups by providing them with a supportive ecosystem and best-in-class resources. Through our grants competition, we invest $500,000 each year in Pre-Seed and Seed Stage companies that relocate to Downtown Kansas City.

We strive to make Downtown Kansas City a vibrant hub for innovative startups, offering founders access to a talented workforce and a passionate community. Our team, led by Becca Castro, Jim Erickson, and Tommy Wilson, is dedicated to driving strategic initiatives, business recruitment, and providing ongoing support to startups.
