## Description

LaunchTag Pad is a Solana launchpad built around distinctive tags for coins. Each coin launched on the platform is associated with one tag, chosen by the person launching it. To share in that coin’s fees, users must put its tag in their X display name; the stated share is 70%. Removing the tag ends eligibility, making the display-name requirement central to how the platform works.

Tags can be one to three emoji or a single word of up to eight letters. LaunchTag checks whether a tag is available before building a transaction, and reserving one costs nothing beyond launching the coin. Once launched, a tag is taken and remains with that coin. The platform also blocks brand words to prevent users from placing someone else’s name in profiles.

LaunchTag features a live view of tags on the pad and accounts currently changing their display names. Its own coin, $TAG, is described as the pad’s first tag, with links to its mint, a pump.fun purchase page, chart, and social follow option.
