Laurea Entrepreneurship Society has been making a difference since 2008, promoting entrepreneurship and self-development. With a rich history dating back to 2007, a group of students from Laurea University of Applied Sciences started their mission to actively promote entrepreneurship in Finland, especially within universities. Inspired by their visit to the University of Cambridge, the founders introduced the first student-led speaker event in Finland, called 'Entrepreneurship Tuesday', in March 2008.

Since then, Laurea Entrepreneurship Society, formerly known as Helsinki Metropolitan Entrepreneurship Academy, has been an ambassador of entrepreneurship, engaging thousands of people from various schools and backgrounds. They focus on the professional and personal development of their community members, valuing it as the key to success. As they continue their journey, Laurea Entrepreneurship Society collaborates with partners such as Laurea University of Applied Sciences, 3AMK Entrepreneurship Society Alliance, and the Ministry of Education and Culture.
