Laurie H. Smith is an interior designer, author, speaker, and television personality known for bringing modern classic design to a broad audience. She first appeared on TLC’s Trading Spaces in 1999, designing rooms under tight 48-hour deadlines across ten seasons; the show earned an Emmy nomination. She also returned for the series’ 2018 reboot and its subsequent season.

Based in Atlanta, Smith offers full-service consultations and virtual design through DesignSmith Interiors.
