## Description

The Landesanglerverband Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e.V. (LAV MV) is the state angling association for Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. It supports angling, affiliated clubs and members while promoting responsible use of local waters and fish conservation. The association provides information on fishing regulations, fishing waters and available angling permits, including guest permits that can be purchased online and downloaded after payment. Its fishing school offers information about courses and examination dates, as well as an online course to prepare for the fishing examination. LAV MV also serves young anglers through club support, environmental education, fishing camps and initiatives such as ANGELNmachtSCHULE and its mobile information service. Conservation is another important part of its work, with projects and activities focused on clean waters, healthy fish and the protection of the European eel, including the Aal-Aktie initiative. Members can access insurance information, and the association publishes the magazine Angeln in M-V online. Through events, training, publications and practical projects, LAV MV connects anglers and encourages community involvement in the region’s waterways.
