## Description

L’Avenç de Cornellà is a nonprofit association founded in 1994 to defend and preserve the heritage of Cornellà de Llobregat, Barcelona. Its work encompasses historical, artistic, cultural, documentary, ethnological, and natural heritage, including both tangible and intangible traditions. The association also shares the city’s past and present through books about Cornellà and its people, which it publishes annually.

Through its website, L’Avenç invites the public to explore local heritage, including the Castle of Cornellà, Casa Camprubí, and the pre-Romanesque columns. Visitors can find information about heritage sites and their locations, as well as articles, videos, news, events, an archive, and material on local history. Topics featured include the Canal de la Infanta and the history of the castle. The site also presents the association’s published books, annual reports, and poetry, and encourages visitors to become members and follow its social media. L’Avenç offers a way to engage with Cornellà’s cultural life and support the preservation of its distinctive heritage.
